The church had their baseball banquet tonight! They had lots of yummy food and activities for the kids. They had a big inflatable slide that the boys loved! It was a lot of fun and the boys were excited to get their trophies at the end!

Pittsburgh
We spent 4 days in Pittsburgh, PA visiting my mom's side of the family. 31 people got together to have fun and make memories. I was really excited because it was an opportunity for my kids to play with my cousin's kids (like we did growing up). We went to the park which had a creek that everyone loved exploring. We took a trip to the zoo and saw lots of animals, including the dancing polar bear, which we watched and laughed at for a while. The kids enjoyed dip n dots for a snack and the boys loved it! Papa sprayed the kids with a water hose and I'm not sure who had more fun doing that, him or the kids. They laughed as they ran past him trying to escape the spraying water. Lina and Mark hung out in the kiddie pool and were so sweet together. They were buddies the whole time. We took a river boat cruise on our own private boat. It had 2 levels, a dance floor, a bar (fully stocked) and lots of great lunch food. The captain let the kids drive the boat and AJ was very excited to do so. He changed what he wants to be when he grows up now to a boat captain. He even asked the captain how much he makes. It was a lot of fun for everybody. Papa had the kids put on a performance for us with comedy, dancing and a few football stars. It was a great trip and one that I'm sure we'll never forget.

Pools
It's hot! and if we're outside, there is water involved. The boys were gettting tired of the sprinkler so I bought a small pool for them. It took an hour to fill up and they played in it for about 20 minutes! Mark likes it but the older boys would rather spray each other with the hose and they get in and out of the pool so much, the water gets dirty very quickly.
They are enjoying our neighborhood pool. We have been there more than I expected this summer! Mark is doing great in adjusting his nap to our schedule. He's very flexible and all 3 boys could stay at the big pool for hours! We are loving summer!

Father's Day
Today we celebrate Jeff and the amazing father he is to our 3 boys! The boys each had a present for him and they brought them out one by one. When they realized one of the bags had candy in it, they wanted to keep it instead. :-) We are so thankful for Dadda and all he does for our family! Happy Father's Day!

High Falls
We woke up on a Saturday with no obligations! No where to be, no where to go, no scheduled plans- this never happens, SO, we planned a spontaneous day trip to high falls. It's fairly close to us and we've always wanted to go, so we packed a picnic and we were out the door! It was fun to be outside and the boys had plenty of room to run and play. When we first got there, we found a play ground; the boys played for a few minutes, until they spoted a huge tree that had fallen, so they wanted to climb on it. I had planned on running while we were there and AJ wanted to go with me. We ran 1 mile together and he did great. He had to walk a couple of times, but he loved holding my phone and watching our pace and calories burned. I was proud of him! We found a shady spot to eat our lunch and then we headed on the trail where the falls were. There were signs saying "no swimming", but the boys were very persistant, so we let them put their feet in. Our spontaneous plans turned out to be a fun family day- I love days like this!

Imagine It Museum
Dadda took the day off so we could have a family fun day! We took the boys to Imagine It Childrens Museum in Atlanta. It was so much fun; I think it was designed for my boys. It was very hands on and had lots of gadgets and balls to play with. They had a farm/grocery store area to play in that had a farm truck you could get in and pretend to drive. Mark was in there for 10 minutes or more, he loved it and I couldn't get him out. They also had a "fishing" area where you could use a fishing pole to catch fish; of course Mark just wanted to splash in the water, but the older boys caught lots of fish! There was a huge train set, tunnels and slides, and a huge moon dough/sand table, where the boys spent time building mountains and playing in the sand. Their favorite exhibit was the ball machine that used pulleys, levers, and wedges to load balls into a crane and travel through many different obstacles in the machine. Then they were dumped out from 10 feet or so to be put back in the crane. We packed a picnic lunch; ate and played a little bit longer before heading home for naps. It was a fun day for the boys!
