AJ's Field Day

Mark and I came up to watch all the Field Day fun at Rocky Creek today!

Tug-o-war was the best part!  Ms. Gable's class competed many times and got 2nd place out of 10 first grade classes.  AJ loved it!

Ty's PreSchool Graduation

Ty graduated from Pre-School tonight and is now officially a Kindergartener!  We have been so blessed by Ms. Kelly and Hampton First Baptist Academy.  Ty has had a great year!

Mark made a mark!

It's not uncommon when I put Mark down for a nap that I hear him talking and even playing for a little bit before he falls asleep.  He usually plays or talks for 10 minutes and then falls asleep.  Today I heard him in his room, but didn't think much of it.  I went to go check on him and found red marker all over the wall!!!  I was so frustrated but I couldn't wake him up and immediately spank him, so we talked about what he did and said he was a bad boy.  Neither AJ, nor Ty wrote on the wall- it had to be the third!

Golfing with friends

A great golf outing with AJ and the first of many to come. AJ had more fun driving the golf cart and looking at the GPS for distance than actual golf. One of the best memories was how supportive Landon was when Jason hit a drive off the tee "Wow, dad you can hit really far." Then it was my turn to get a reaction out of AJ. I took my shot and AJ said "That wasn't a very good shot dad, It didn't really go that far." Jason and I got a great laugh out of it as we all sat down for dinner at the club house together. 

A night with the Nichols

Today the Nichols kids came over for some fun while their parents went to the Braves game!  We played outside for a while and shared our bikes and then we had pizza in the back yard (plates not necessary).  Then we headed inside to get cleaned up (2 at a time) and watch a movie.  We love having them over because everyone has someone to play with and of course I loved hanging out with Khloe.  We are blessed to have such awesome friends! 

Jailhouse 5K

We got in last minute for the Jailhouse 5K in Hampton- Jeff and A.J. ran and I hung out with Mark and Ty.  We watched them take off and then we decided to walk to the gas station for some ice cream.  We made it back to the finish line to see Dadda and A.J. run across!  I was so proud of A.J. and I love that he enjoys doing these races with us!

Jailhouse 5K

Jeff and AJ ran the Jailhouse 5K in Hampton tonight.  I loved cheering on my boys!  During the race Ty, Mark and I walked to a downtown gas station and got some ice cream.  Ty saw his friend, Kylie from school when we were walking around.  We got back in time to watch Dadda and AJ cross the finish line.  This is AJ's third 5K and he did awesome!  I was a very proud Mom!
